2014 we came back to Canada buzzing with excitement about how this season would be different now that we were “seasoned pickers”.  We headed to Whitehorse, capital of the Yukon and from there took a float plane to Mandanna lake.   This year went down in the record books with morels selling at 14$ a lb fresh, and the forest was full of them.  After the plane mission we flew back in with our small crew and did a 2 week long drying mission on the same spot.
