2018 We went for the first time to pick in the Kootenays on the BC Alberta border.  We had a fun team and our daughter Naia came along for her first mushroom season.  The season was memorable for having to cross the icy river everyday by foot, for the local hot springs , and our wonderful picking team.  It was also the first season without mosquitos! After the Kootenays we headed to the biggest burn that year in Nazco and picked green morels which grow late in the season.
